A Message for the Media

We apologize for the somewhat sporadic appearance of the media reports on our website over the past few months, and unfortunately cannot promise that the situation will improve any time soon. The City of Ferndale has laid off one of the police department's clerical staff members and not filled another position that opened; although we have just as many police officers and just as much workload, we now only have two people to handle it all. Our police and court related duties must take priority over many of the services we used to offer, including the media reports.
