It is our mission is to protect life and property and to provide extraordinary public service to our growing residential, business and industrial population. The Police Department works closely and collaboratively with our community in maintaining the high quality of life enjoyed by the residents of one of Washington’s most attractive rural cities.

We are grateful to the members of the newly created Police Advisory Commission for helping Photo of SCOPE officers with radarus define the public safety needs of our community, and to the volunteers of the Ferndale Police SCOPE program who donate countless hours of their time enforcing and informing the public about our traffic and parking laws.

The Ferndale Police Department has an authorized staffing level of 18 commissioned officers and three professional support staff.
