Animal Control

The City of Ferndale contracts with the Whatcom Humane Society for animal control services.  Please call them at 733-2080 extension 3006 with animal related problems.  If there is an urgent situation where peoples' lives or safety are in danger, always call 9-1-1 first.

 

The Humane Society is located at 3710 Williamson Way* in Bellingham.  The shelter is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.  Officers are on call for animal control emergencies seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

 

* From Ferndale take I-5 south to the Bakerview (Airport)Exit and turn right at Bakerview.  Continue to Williamson Way and turn right to reach the shelter.
