Administration

The Administration Division oversees all department activities, works with other departments and agencies, prepares and monitors budgets, manages recruitment activities, and provides personnel support. Administrative personnel also serve as Public Information Officers, coordinating relations between our agency and members of the news media.

Ferndale Police Department’s Administrative Staff consists of Chief Michael F. Knapp, Lieutenant Matt Huffman, and Support Services Manager Leigh Ramsey.
